Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) enables programmers to develop highly customized desktop applications that integrate with a variety of Microsoft and non-Microsoft programs. For example, all of the Microsoft Office System products support VBA. In addition, many third-party programs, such as accounting software packages, mapping software, and drafting programs also support VBA.

Creating tables through the Access 2010 UI is accomplished by choosing any of the options in the Tables group on the Create Ribbon. The Tables group contains three primary options for creating tables: a Table, a Table Design, and a SharePoint Lists option.
